Barbara Jean Norton Robinson, age 75, passed peacefully Wednesday, March 23, 2021. She was born September 4, 1945 and
grew up in West Branch, Michigan with her parents Ivan and Neoma Norton, sister Judy and brothers Fred and Tim.
In 1963, she joined the U.S. Navy. After recruit training Barbara went to Newport, Rhode Island for disbursing clerk school
and then on to the finance office at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida. A few years after being discharged from active
duty, Barbara joined the Navy Reserves. While in the Navy Reserves, she was able to serve in CAG Twenty located in Cecil Field,
Florida. She also served in Patron Squadron Sixty-Two. While Barbara served in the Navy, she was able to serve at the jet
base at Fallon, Nevada, Rota, Spain and other places. In 1994, she retired as chief petty officer disbursing clerk.
Barbara's daughter, Laura Horning, was born at Quonset Point, Rhode Island in 1970. Barbara's son, Christopher Horning,
was born at Patuxent River, Maryland in 1972. After her children's arrival they were her main concern and attention. Her civilian
jobs as bookkeeper at a junior high school, plus military pay clerk, then as an accounting technician for military pay in
the Federal Service, Navy Reserves and church activities kept her busy until her retirement.
Through the years Barbara has enjoyed being with friends and doing what she could for others.
Barbara enjoyed visiting with and doing fun things with her mother, siblings, children, grandchildren, other family members
and friends.
March 1997, Barbara and Vernon Robinson were married and began their life together.
October 1997 was early retirement from U.S. Federal Civil Service so Barbara and Vernon could live in Sheguaindah, Ontario,
Canada. Her husband, Vernon died in 2003.
Reading, visiting, playing cards and games as well as listening to music brought pleasure to Barbara.
Being active in her church activities and being about the Lord's work was her main concern in life. Being an ordained
minister in the church Community of Christ, provided many opportunities to server her Lord.
In October 2005, Barbara moved back to her hometown of West Branch, Michigan.
She has worked as an elections inspector at city hall, was active in American Legion Post 103 in West Branch, and was
a volunteer at the West Branch Book Nook.
Barbara traveled, visiting family, friends and enjoying life. Some of the places she traveled to were twelve other countries,
plus Branson, MO, Nashville, TN, the Smokey Mountains area, and many other places in the United States. Her times at church
world conferences in Independence, MO were special, also.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Robinson, mother, Neoma (Vincent, Norton) Reid, father – Ivan
Norton, step-father; Logan Reid, brothers; Richard and Randy Reid.
Surviving are her children, daughter Laura Horning (husband Arthur Smith) of Independence, MO, and son Christopher Horning
(wife Anna Horning) of Middleburg, FL, step-children Loree Robinson of Sunnyvale, CA, Richard Robinson of Ontario, Canada
and Elizabeth Harris Wylde, of Arizona. Barbara's grandchildren are Elizabeth, Erik, Emily and Erin Horning of Florida, Eliza
Horning of Ontario, Canada, Tiona Horning of Missouri, and Lacie Beland, Emma and Thomas Cornwell of Florida. Great grandchild
Serena Bowick of Florida. Her siblings are, sister Judy Klemetti (Lee) of Muskegon, MI, brothers Fred Norton of Belleville,
IL and Tim Norton of Kansas City, MO, Ethel Jean (Harold) Iutzi of Michigan, Virginia Thompson of Florida, Marlin Reid of
Florida, Marlene Baggett of Florida, Judy Matthews of Michigan, Darla Fox of Michigan and Marsha Russell of Michigan.
Also surviving is her friend, Edward Zimmer, who has given her such special companionship.
Visitation at Steuerrnol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 3:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation
starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery with veteran honors. Seventy Kevin White will officiate.
Visitation will be held with precautions, due to the current pandemic, limiting the number of attendees at a given time.

Larry Winter
Larry Lloyd Winter, age 75, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. He was born on
November 27, 1944 in West Branch to Lloyd and Catherine (Ruegsegger) Winter. Larry lived in Alger for most of his life. On
May 14, 1965, he married Judy Dunn in Flint. Larry attended Edwards Community Church and enjoyed bowling, golfing, bocce ball,
fishing and hunting.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy Winter of Alger; sons, Jeff (Brandi) Winter and Steve (Kristi)
Winter both of West Branch; grandchildren, Aspen, Tom (Dustin), Brandon, Easton and Morgan; great grandchildren, Braylin,
Colton and Sawyer; and brother, Allen Winter of West Branch. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 3:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Edwards Community Church at 3:00 p.m. with

John Samuel Ammond, M.D., 74, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019, at MidMichigan Medical Center - Midland.
He was born March 24, 1945, in Detroit to John and Mary (Atkins) Ammond. John lived in West Branch most of his life. He
attended Michigan State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science, and attended Notre Dame, where he received
his Bachelor of Arts. John went on to school at Wayne State University to receive his Doctor of Medicine and was a doctor
for family practice and emergency medicine. He enjoyed swimming, water and snow skiing, windsurfing, reading books and watching
movies.
John is survived by his daughter, Joy Brooks; siblings, Mary Clare Ammond, Joe Ammond, Ann (John) LaFond, Rose Ammond,
Patricia (Greg) Weiler, Bridget Frey and James Ammond; nieces and nephews, Joe (Michelle) Ammond, John (Liz) Ammond, Christopher
(Shaina) LaFond, Michael (Lindsey) LaFond, Justin (Erica) Weiler, Patrick (Megan) Weiler, Michelle Weiler, Jed (Stephanie)
Frey, Abby (Nick) Stephensen and Caleb Frey; aunt, Marylin Atkins; and cousins, Catherine Greenspan and Elizabeth Atkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and uncles, Tom and George Atkins.

Frank
LeRoy Fox, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at his home in West Branch. He was born on December 21, 1944
in Bay City to Ross and Naomi (Haun) Fox. Frank lived in West Branch since the 6th grade, formerly of Bay City. He married
Mary Quigley in Selkirk on June 26, 1965 and was a member of the Churchill United Methodist Church. Frank was a life member
of the NRA, enjoyed hunting, talking about hunting and being outdoors. He also enjoyed history, western movies, tractors,
working on the farm, and talking to everyone he met. Frank loved his comrade “Pal”, his German Shepard.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Fox of West Branch; son,
Anthony (Robert) Fox of Seattle, WA; granddaughters, Lauren (Garrett Schafsnitz) Fox of Flint and Madison Fox of Grand Blanc;
daughter in law, Lena (Fred McGill) Fox of Grand Blanc; brothers in law, Les (Rose) Quigley, Ron (Gail) Quigley, Mike (Patti)

Beverly Ann Trout Stewart, Age 72; of Alma; passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Gratiot
with her husband and children by her side. She was born July 12, 1944 in West Branch, Michigan the daughter of Albert and
Mabel (Cary) Trout. Due to the death of her father at a young age she was raised by her step-father, Carl Bell. On January
18, 1964 she married Richard Daniel, a union that brought four children. Richard preceded her in death in 1983. Beverly married
Randal Stewart on July 7, 1990. She worked for United Technologies for 17 years, before her retirement. She was a member of
Nativity of the Lord Parish, (St. Mary’s Catholic Church) where she enjoyed attending Bible study. Beverly was an
avid Detroit Tigers Fan and enjoyed the Game Show Network, old Westerns and crocheting. She was famous for her cheesecakes
and cookies. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Beverly is survived by her husband, Randy of Alma;
four children, Richard Daniel of Alma, Teresa (Jason) Hough of Saginaw, Keith (Connie) Daniel of Mason and Luke (Sara) Daniel
of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Bethany (Derek) Davis, Laura (Kyle) Sinclair, Juliete Daniel, Spencer and Lilly Hough, Kassidy

Pauline A. "Polly" Vicenzi, 71, of Marquette, peacefully entered eternal
life Sunday afternoon, May 8, 2016 at U.P. Health System- Marquette
surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness. Polly was
born on January 31, 1945 in West Branch, Michigan, a daughter of the
late Lyle and Vera (White) Wilcox and was a 1963 graduate of West Branch
High School. She was a former member of Job's Daughters where she
previously served as Grand Bethel Honored Queen. A very family
oriented person, Polly was extremely close to her children and
grandchildren often attending her son's hockey games and daughter's
basketball games and Special Olympics events. She also attended as many
of her grandchildren's sporting events as well. In her free time, Polly
loved to play cribbage, racquetball, belonged to a bowling league and
was part of a walking group with several of her lady friends. She loved
bon fires, fireworks, making an exceptional potato salad and lasagna,
and spending time with her "senior" friends. She worked for a short
period of time as a volunteer with U.P. Home Health and Hospice until
her illness prevented her from doing so anymore. Resilient to the end,
Polly had a very strong will and possessed an unconditional love for
others. She is survived by three children, Denise Vicenzi, Danielle
Vicenzi and Christopher Vicenzi, all of Marquette; four cherished
grandchildren, Alexis, Jaden, Adrian and Bella Vicenzi; her former
husband, Dennis Vicenzi of Iron Mountain; also nieces and nephews, Kathy
Bonathan, Dr. Kurt Young, Karen McPherson, Sabrina Overbay, Marcus
Overbay and Jackie Wilcox. Preceding her in death besides her parents,
were three siblings, Michela Young, John Wilcox and Dr. Vera Overbay. ********************

Obituary for Robert R. Warren Robert R. Warren, age 89, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home in West Branch, MI with
his family by his side. He was born to Robert D. and Hazel (Miller) Warren in Dewitt Township, MI on June 21, 1926. He had
lived in West Branch for over 30 years, formerly of Auburn, MI. Robert served in the United States Navy from 1944-1946, during
WWII. He was stationed in Arizona and served as a Naval Firefighter. On July 15, 1944, Robert married Viola Myas in Detroit,
MI. He enjoyed… woodworking and had built his home on Lake Ogemaw, where they had shared many years of memories. They
also shared over 30 wonderful years of retirement between Lake Ogemaw and Florida. Robert enjoyed golfing, shuffle board,
and camping.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Viola Warren of West Branch, MI; children

Joyce M. Alley (Gildner), formerly of West Branch, MI, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 after a battle against cancer
with her son at her side. Joyce was born in West Branch on December 4, 1945 to Clifford and Doris Gildner. She was a graduate
of West Branch High School and Central Michigan University. She retired in 2010 from the Michigan Liquor Control Commission.
Joyce
loved laughing, tubing, gambling, and shopping with her many friends. Most of all, she enjoyed seeing her… grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Gary E. McDonald Husband of Ann Globke McDonald Gary Eugene McDonald, age 73, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014.
He was born on August 24, 1941 in Ann Arbor, MI to Gerald and Eugenie McDonald. Gary married Ann Marie (Globke) on July
20, 1963 and made their home in West Branch, MI.
Gary was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corp after
an injury. He worked for Franklin’s concrete and was an oil field driller. He was a West Branch City Police Officer
for 10 years before buying and running Mac’s Place Restaurant… for 19 years. After retirement, Gary continued to stay busy driving trucks, building and working
with son and team on race cars, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Ann
Marie McDonald; son, Gerald (Tina) McDonald of Midland; grandchildren: Kayla Marie, Kimberly Sue, James Gerald, Rebecca Jean,

Sharon Lee Jameson, age 69, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 in West Branch, MI. Sharon has lived in
West Branch her entire life. She was born to Asil and Myrtle (Friend) Thomas on May 10, 1944 in West Branch, MI. Sharon married
Bruce Jameson on May 18, 1963 and they just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2013. Sharon was a member of Churchill
United Methodist Church and a member of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel-MARSP. She was a lunch lady for
17 years at WBRC Schools. Sharon volunteered as a 4-H Leader, Girl Scout Leader, and was active with the Ogemaw County Sheriff’s
Posse. She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, spending time with her family, and has been a seamstress since she was 12 years
old.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Bruce Jameson of West Branch, MI; daughters: Jeani (Dale)
Vermillion of West Branch, MI, Janie (Ron) Baumgarten of Manistee, MI, Jacki Jameson of West Branch, MI; grandchildren: Brandi

Mr. Kirk Evans, Sr. passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Age
67 years. Mr. Evans was born September 26, 1945 in Lansing to the late Amos R. and Flora E. (Elston) Evans. After serving
in the United States Air Force, he married Sherry Lynn Smith on March 17, 1973. She survives him. Kirk was employed by General
Motors, retiring in 1999 after 32 years of service. He was a member of UAW Local 659 and the American Legion Post 367, Montrose.
He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed gardening. In addition to his spouse, Kirk is survived by four children, Tracy
(Jeff) Mason, Mary Ellen (Craig) McAllister, Kirk (KatieAnne) Evans, Jr., and Cory Evans; six grandchildren, Amanda, Doug,
Pat, Curtis, Madison, and Parker; four great-grandchildren, Emma, Christopher, Lily, and Chloe; and a sister, Janet Sapp.

Charles R. Burt (April 22, 1944 - April 28, 2012)
Charles Robert Burt, 68, died peacefully in his home on April 28th, 2012. He was born on April 22, 1944, in
West Branch Michigan. He was the son of Bessie Burt, and loving grandson to Mabel and John Burt. Charles graduated from West
Branch High, class of 1963. Following graduation, he hosted a radio show for the local WBMI radio station. Charles then moved
to Flint and worked for Fisher Body Assembly. While in Flint, he met his sweetheart, Patricia, and married her on March 27th,
1965. Charles then went on to join General Motors and retired from their engine plant in Flint Michigan in the Spring of 1995.
Charles and Patricia settled in Millington, Michigan. Charles was a loyal member of the UAW local 599 and a devoted member
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Charles was also a professional musician. He was a member of The Chuck
Burt Band and played music for 52 years all over the United States, to include recording in Nashville, TN.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann (Suttles); his daughter, Tirzah (Burt) Sirken and husband
Jon from Howell Michigan. His son, David Burt and wife Samantha from West Branch Michigan. Eight grandchildren; Jonas and
Zaiden Sirken, Jordan, Alishea, Amy, Christine, Malakey, and Faith Burt. Brother Larry Anderson and wife Sharon from Grand
Rapids Michigan; and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

Gary W. Sanders, age 66 of Alger, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at Veterans Hospital in Saginaw.
Gary served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Service Star after his service
in Viet Nam. Gary loved his Corvettes, hunting, fishing and searching for mushrooms.
Gary is survived by his daughter Nichole Sanders and grandsons Kaleb and Breadon. Also surviving are his sisters,
Carol , class of 1956,(Ron) Stephens, Lorraine,class of 1960, (George) Pappas and Donna Sanders and four nieces. He was preceded
in death by his parents George and Arletta Sanders. ****
