...."My grandmother was born and raised in West Branch. I'm
sending a picture of her basketball team. The year was printed on the basketball..but she crossed it out. She never wanted
anyone to know her age..I'm unsure of the date of the picture, but I noticed on your website that she graduated in 1912"..

Ethel Harriet Moss Tate was born December 24, 1983
in West Branch, Ogemaw County Michigan.She lived in West Branch and graduated from West Branch High School in 1912. In 1913,
she lived in Detroit and met Cam Tait. She was living with her sister in Detroit and working for Michigan Central Railroad..probably
as a secretary. She died on June 2, 1972 and was buried in Lakewood Park Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County Ohio.
She was an excellent pianist.
